At the heart of the band are Andy and Susan Doherty who play regularly as a duo at functions, hotels, pubs and clubs etc. but with up to three additional band members make up a storming Ceilidh Band with the versatility to include a wide range of music in the programme if your occasion demands it.
At
our functions we often get asked to play jazz through the meal before going on to play a full ceilidh dance night.
We usually go out as a three/four piece band with Susan as resident caller who gives clear guidance to help you through the dances, plus electric piano, 2 fiddles / mandolins and guitars to make a big rousing Ceilidh sound, or we can easily do a Ceilidh as a duo if that suits your space or budget. If you just want some music and songs playing at your function we can do that too - just give us a call or e-mail and we will discuss your ideas with you.
Our sound is a very important issue, therefore we use a high quality PA system with Bose speakers. We are fully covered with Public Liability Insurance and our equipment is regularly tested for electrical safety
(PATS Tested) so you can book us with confidence.

Cornerstone
are a family Ceilidh Folk/Jazz Band based near Lancaster, with a wealth of experience, catering for Weddings, Private Parties, Burns Night and St Patricks Night celebrations, and Corporate Functions throught the UK. In particular in the North West of England.
